Warm up the engine up to the working temperature.
Install the air temperature regulator on the lowest temperature, and the handle of control of the heater fan on the highest speed. Open car doors.
After air conditioning system provided the required temperature condition, check temperature of two pipelines on a partition of a motor compartment connected to the evaporator.
Thinner pipeline connecting the evaporator to the condenser has to be kolodny, and thicker pipeline connecting the evaporator to the compressor has to be even colder – 2–5 °C. If the pipeline connecting the evaporator to the compressor is much warmer, than the pipeline connecting the evaporator to the condenser, system needs refueling. Insert the thermometer into the central ventilating grates of the dashboard during the operation of the air conditioning system in the mode of the maximum cooling — temperature shown by the thermometer has to be 15-20 °C lower than air temperature in interior of the car. If the difference of temperatures much less probably system needs refueling.
If from ventilating grates warm air moves, check operation of the coupling of the compressor of the conditioner. The assistant has to turn on the air conditioning system, at that time when you look at the forward party of the compressor. The coupling at inclusion has to publish the heard click, and the nave of the coupling has to begin to rotate.
If the coupling does not work, check the fuses located in the dashboard.
If safety locks are serviceable, according to electric circuits check serviceability of chains of the coupling of the compressor and sensor of pressure.
If chains of the coupling of the compressor and the sensor of pressure are serviceable probably the coupling failed.
If the coupling of the compressor, the relay and their
are serviceable, perhaps, the system needs refueling by coolant. All further checks and repair of the air conditioning system need to be carried out at service station
