On models since 2001 the sensor of temperature of the air coming to the engine is built in the sensor of the measuring instrument of a consumption of air (MAF).
The sensor of air temperature, coming to the engine, represents the thermoresistor, i.e. the resistor which resistance changes depending on temperature. At reduction of temperature resistance of the sensor increases and vice versa (see specifications).
You carry out replacement of the sensor of air temperature coming to the engine (IAT) on models till 2001 as follows:
– switch off ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the rechargeable battery;

– disconnect the electric socket
from the IAT sensor
– take the IAT sensor from the case of the air filter.
